The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the Telecommunications arena overseeing core accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger management. This individual will work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting, while driving improvements in accounting processes. Ideal candidates will have strong technical accounting skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate results

• Prepare complex journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across multiple entities

• Analyze financial data and trends to support management decision-making

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and audit responses

• Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies

• Collaborate with other departments to improve accounting workflows and financial visibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, etc.)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency

• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

• CPA license or active CPA candidate

• Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry

• Familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606
